These DVDs install to your hard drive and you need 40GB of free space if you want to install all the maps. Installing and uncompressing the maps may take up to 4 hours.
Two DVDs containing:
-Landsat7 satellite images of South Africa (15 meter resolution, 2000);
-National, regional and secondary roads;
-Administrative boundaries from the Demarcation Board; and
-The South African Geographical Place Name database (over 58000 place names).
-Statistics SA's main and sub-places;
-Cadastral data of the whole South Africa (original farms, farm portions, erven and street names);
-Topographic 1:50000 vector data for the whole of SA;
-20m contours for the whole of SA;
-Available 5m contours (partial coverage of South Africa);
-Scanned 1:250000 topographic map sheets.
